How it works
  • A fine powder which, blended with water, yields a clay mask to leave skin soft and refreshed. As Kaolin clay does not completely dissolve in water, its very fine particles effect a gentle mechanical exfoliation of the skin’s surface to lift excess oil, grime, sunscreen, and makeup

Directions

In a small bowl or the palm of your hand, blend a teaspoon of powder with a half-teaspoon of water. Mix well and apply evenly to freshly cleansed skin, avoiding contact with eyes. Leave for 10 minutes or until dry, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

For added nourishment, blend the powder and water with a few drops of Mesquite Springs Hydrating Serum.

Caper Bush
(Capparis spinosa)
Caper Bush, also known as the Flinders Rose, is a hardy perennial found throughout the Mediterranean. The shrubby plant is extremely drought-resistant, and grows well in salty soil. It has fragrant pink-white blooms, but it's best known for its dark green flower buds, capers, which are typically salted, brined, or pickled for culinary use. Capparis spinosa has a rich ethnomedical history, and research indicates that caper extract may have antioxidant properties.

The word Aloe may be derived from the Arabic alloeh, meaning “shining, bitter substance”, which describes the clear, viscous gel stored inside the plant’s leaves to provide hydration in arid climates. This gel gives Aloe Vera leaf extract its reputation for cooling, moisturizing, and soothing the skin.
