How it works

Equally effective used individually or blended together, Rock Rose Clay Mask and Mesquite Springs Hydrating Serum make for a potent pair. Rock Rose Clay Mask is a fine powder which, blended with water, yields a clay mask to leave skin soft and refreshed. Mesquite Springs Hydrating Serum contains meaningful doses of humectant and emollient ingredients, including Hyaluronic Acid and Tocopherol, to replenish moisture, alongside prebiotic Inulin and antioxidant Prickly Pear.

Directions

In a small bowl or the palm of your hand, blend a teaspoon of Rock Rose Clay Mask powder with a half-teaspoon of water and a few drops of Mesquite Springs Hydrating Serum. Mix well and apply evenly to freshly cleansed skin, avoiding contact with eyes. Leave for 10 minutes or until dry, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Alternatively, omit the Mesquite Springs Hydrating Serum from the powder–water blend: apply and rinse mask as normal, and then finish with Mesquite Springs Hydrating Serum for leave-on nourishment.

Prickly Pear
(Opuntia ficus-indica)
Prickly Pear grows in abundance in the desert, with an ability to adapt to—and flourish in—arid conditions. Its fruit ripens in late summer through early fall in the northern hemisphere. Eaten raw, it boasts one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C of any fruit. As a desert plant, Prickly Pear is known for its ability to retain moisture; applied topically, it offers similar hydrating benefits to skin.
Aloe Leaf

The word Aloe may be derived from the Arabic alloeh, meaning “shining, bitter substance”, which describes the clear, viscous gel stored inside the plant’s leaves to provide hydration in arid climates. This gel gives Aloe Vera leaf extract its reputation for cooling, moisturizing, and soothing the skin. When applied topically, it forms a protective barrier on the skin, helping to seal in moisture and reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) while helping to soothe skin.
